Field Trip

We believe there are many educational values to be gained from a selected out-of-school experience. A field trip to Scitech Hands on Museum has been planned to supplement our science unit about the Water Cycle. Scitech Hands on Museum is an interactive and unique science museum, where visitors are encouraged to explore and discover science through many different exhibits.  We will be attending a program titled Awesome Weather, where children will be able to see how air, water, earth and sun interact to produce our weather and the water cycle.  We will be eating lunch at the museum so we are asking that each child bring a bag lunch.  Students who qualify for free and reduced lunches will be provided one on the day of the field trip.  The cost for this field trip will be free, thanks to the generosity of the Gombert PTA.  Please sign and return this completed form to school by: Monday, October 22, 2012.

The field trip will take place on Thursday, October 25, 2012 from 9:30am - 1:30pm.
